I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that perhaps you know nothing of comparative costs and health statistics among the industrialized countries with universal health care and the US. It’s not that the US is terrible - it’s not, and we do many things very well. It’s just that other countries manage to do so much more with fewer resources - spending half per capita compared to the US.
So your swipes against “government-run health care” come off as lacking knowledge, I’m afraid. You get to say those things in your own circles, as you can get away with it. But I wouldn’t go public with my ignorance, if I were you.
